The Borgu di Fora Casa Murina

The Borgu di Fora dates from the 17th century and was the first area built outside the walls of the fortified city of Sartène. It is thus its reciprocal space as well considering the chronology of history as the tracing of the Cattenacciu procession. It is also an intimate and secret district which is worth in Sartène its reputation: “The most Corsican of Corsican Cities” according to Prosper Mérimée.
