By land or by sea, Porto-Pollo occupies a central geographical position in South Corsica which places it at maximum one hour of travel time of the most known sites of this department: Ajaccio, Bonifacio, Sartène , Propriano, Needles of Bavella, Roccapina, Capu di Muru, Campomoro, Filitosa or Cupabia.

Its scuba diving sites are among the most prestigious on the island.
